Francis Salisbury is our Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector. Francis has always had a love of planes. He got his pilot’s license in 1978 while still in high school. Francis then attended Northrup University, graduating in 1982. Immediately after graduation he landed a job as a maintenance technician at Unlimited Aircraft. Modern Aero was his next adventure before landing at Tom’s Aircraft Maintenance.

 

Francis became a Service Manager at Tom’s in 1998 and has run the shop ever since. When OCR Aviation bought Tom’s Aircraft in 2016 Francis was named Director of Maintenance. Throughout the years he has been to every training course Textron/Cessna has offered and has an abundance of knowledge on almost every plane he encounters. Francis loves to spend time with his wife and 2 grown sons riding off-road vehicles in the desert when not on his boat fishing or traveling the world.
